Cross Country: ACU's men finish fourth at NCAA Championships
The Abilene Christian men's team finished fourth, while Midwestern State's women were 15th at the NCAA Division II Championships meet held on a snow-covered course in Slippery Rock, Pa.
The Wildcats were led by Julius Nyango in 11th place with a time of 31:39, while Daniel Maina crossed the finish line 16th (31:44) in the 8K race.
Competing as an individual, Texas A&M Commerce's Tyler Tyndell finished 57th in 32:36.
On the women's side, Katie Stepp paced the Mustangs covering the 6K course in 22:21.
Individually, ACU's Winrose Karunde finished 26th (22:24) and Loice Cheboi 78th (23:28), while West Texas A&M's Jenniffer Cherono was 62nd (23:17).
