Wildcats seasons end at 2009 Tennis Championships
Abilene Christian's men's and women's teams advanced to the NCAA Division II Tennis Championships, but both saw their remarkable seasons end at the national tournament at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
The ACU women fell in the semifinals to Lynn (Fla.), 5-2, after blanking Drury and Concordia (NY) by identical scores of 5-0 to open the tournament.
On the men's side, the Wildcats dropped a 5-3 decision to Georgia College and State in the round of 16.
