Tarleton State's Adriana Jaskova and Central Oklahoma's Dasha Titkina earned Lone Star Conference Tennis Player of the Week honors for their performances last week, the league office announced today.

Adriana Jaskova went 2-0 in singles this week with wins over two NCAA Division I players and was 1-1 in doubles with partner Shannon Jordan as the TexAnns defeated Division I Prairie View A&M (5-2) before losing to Houston (5-2).  Jaskova downed PVAM's Samantha Cantu 6-3, 6-2 on Friday before knocking off Neila Starratt of Houston on Saturday (6-0, 4-6, 10-4).  Both matches were in the third flight of singles.  Jaskova and Jordan lost 8-5 to Lucy Forward and Jordan McCombs of Houston on Saturday after downing Melanie Brown and Cantu in doubles on Friday, 8-0.

Sr., No. 3 singles and doubles, Moscow, Russia
Titkina went undefeated last week in leading UCO to two wins in three matches.  She picked up two points in UCO's tough 5-4 loss to East Central with wins a No. 3 singles and an 8-0 shutout at No. 3 doubles.  Titkina won both her singles and doubles bouts in a 7-2 win over Southeastern Oklahoma before picking up another doubles win in a 5-0 shutout of Southern Arkansas.
