No. 3 Midwestern State, the Southwest Soccer Conference regular season champions, had seven first-team selections on the All-SSC team as the annual postseason awards were announced on Wednesday.

      After a successful season, the Mustangs (17-2, 7-1) were selected to play in and host the first two rounds of this week's NCAA Division II Championship.

      MSU had a total of ten honorees with seven on the first team and three on the second.  On the first-team were Robert Swann, Brannon Calvert, Craig Sutherland, Kyle Kmiec, Nick Auditore, Ahmad Ihmeidan and Estevao Alexandre, plus Brian Martinez, Rob Humphrey and Shawn Carr on the second team.  In addition, Swann was the Defensive Player of the Year, Sutherland the Freshman of the Year and Doug Elder was named Coach of the Year.

      West Texas A&M had seven selections with four on the first-team and three on the second.  The Buffs Ben Everson earned Offensive Player of the Year acclaim.

      Eastern New Mexico and Northeastern State each had three picks, with one first-teamer and two second-team choices, while Missouri Southern totaled two picks.
