LSC Baseball Championship: TAMUK earns spot in title game
Texas A&M-Kingsville will play either Central Oklahoma or Abilene Christian for the Lone Star Conference baseball championship on Tuesday as play concludes at the 2008 LSC Postseason Tournament in Abilene, Texas.
With a 2-1 win over UCO Monday night, TAMUK has won a tournament-best three games and will play at 5 p.m. in the title game against the winner of Tuesday's 1 p.m. game between the Bronchos and Wildcats.
The Javelinas started the day with a 7-4 victory over Cameron in a 12-inning affair to earn the right to play UCO and eliminate the Aggies. ACU remained in contention with a 4-3 win over Southeastern Oklahoma, which eliminated the Savage Storm.
