LSC Baseball Championship: UCO stays unbeaten, five teams remain
Central Oklahoma recorded another win Sunday to stay unbeaten at the 2008 Lone Star Conference Baseball Championship, being held at Crutcher Scott Field in Abilene, Texas.
Play started with ACU eliminating Angelo State, 4-2, before Southeastern Oklahoma rebounded with a 3-0 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville and UCO topped Cameron, 12-6.
The event continues Monday with a pair of elimination games - TAMUK vs. CU at 11 a.m. and SOSU vs. ACU at 3 p.m. Then the winner of TAMUK/CU will face UCO at 7 p.m. in a possible elimination game.
The championship game is set for 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
