Baseball: ACU, ASU to meet in LSC championship game
Abilene Christian and Angelo State will play Tuesday for the Lone Star Conference baseball championship as the 2007 LSC Postseason Baseball Tournament concludes.
ACU and ASU will play at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, with the Rams needing two victories over the host Wildcats to claim the title. The Wildcats are 3-0 in the tournament, while ASU has won two straight after winning its first tournament game on Saturday and losing its second contest on Sunday.
The tournament, which began with six teams on Saturday, is being played at Crutcher Scott Field on the ACU campus in Abilene, Texas.
ACU sealed a spot in the title game with a 3-0 win over Central Oklahoma. ASU eliminated Texas A&M-Kingsville and UCO to earn a place in the championship game.
