Baseball: ACU, UCO remain unbeaten
Abilene Christian and Central Oklahoma both recorded wins on the second day of play at the 2007 Lone Star Conference Postseason Baseball Championship Tournament, taking place at Crutcher Scott Field on the Abilene Christian University campus in Abilene, Texas.
Sunday's games included an extra inning win by Texas A&M-Kingsville over Southeastern Oklahoma, 5-4 in 10 innings, which eliminated the Savage Storm, while host ACU defeated Southwestern Oklahoma, 12-0, and UCO beat Angelo State, 6-2.
The four-day, six-team, double-elimination event continues Monday with games at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The championship game is set for 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Monday's slate pits UCO against ACU at 11 a.m., followed by ASU and TAMUK at 3 p.m. in an elimination game, with the ASU-TAMUK winner facing the UCO-ACU loser at 7 p.m. in another elimination contest.
Tuesday's pairings will be determined by Monday's results.
