Three Lone Star Conference men's basketball teams - Midwestern State, Tarleton State and West Texas A&M - were selected to continue their seasons at the South Central Regional basketball tournament the NCAA announced tonight.
The men’s regional will be hosted by MSU, who won the men’s LSC Tournament title and automatic qualification Saturday night, in Wichita Falls, Texas, March 10, 11 and 13.
Joining top-seed MSU in the field are No. 2 Tarleton and No. 6 WT. The Mustangs play No. 8 St. Mary’s, while the Texans face Missouri Southern and the Buffs take on Arkansas Tech.
The men's tournament culminates with the quarterfinals through finals being played at the Bank of Kentucky Center in Highland Heights, Ky., March 21, 22 and 24.
