The Lone Star Conference will hold a LSC Basketball Online Preseason Media Day featuring video content on October 25.

      The 2012-13 men’s and women’s basketball preseason poll and awards will be revealed at www.lonestarconference.org.  In addition, videos featuring season previews from all 21 conference head basketball coaches will be available on the league’s website and YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/lscmedia31).

      The LSC has 10 men’s and 11 women’s teams set to play this season, and the league competition should be as tight as ever.  Each team is playing a double round-robin conference schedule with 18 conference games for the men’s teams and 20 on the women’s side.  The 2012-13 season begins November 9.

      This year’s LSC Basketball Championship will be held March 6-9 at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas, for the second straight year.  The $52.6 million state-of-the-art facility, which opened in November 2009, is city owned with approximately 8,000 seats in the basketball configuration plus 24 luxury suites.
