LSC Men's Tennis Championship: ACU, CU advance to finals

Top-seed Abilene Christian and No. 3 Cameron proceeded to the Lone Star Conference Men's Tennis Championship final with semifinal wins on Friday afternoon.

The Wildcats and Aggies will meet in the finals for the fourth straight year after ACU blanked Incarnate Word, 6-0, and CU defeated Southeastern Oklahoma, 5-0, in the first round before pulling the only upset of the day over No. 2 Midwestern State, 5-3.

The teams will meet on Saturday morning at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center at 9:30 a.m.

ACU edged CU, 5-4, in the regular season meeting between the teams on April 13 in Abilene, Texas.

UIW defeated East Central, 5-4, in the other first-round match.
