Abilene Christian made it back-to-back Lone Star Conference baseball titles with a 6-4 comeback win over Angelo State in the championship game Tuesday at Crutcher Scott Field.
The Wildcats (46-13) won their fifth championship crown since 2000 and earned a berth in next week's NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament with the league's automatic qualification. The dates and site for the tournament will be announced Sunday.
ACU has now played in the LSC championship game 10 times since 1999 and is 32-15 in 12 tournament appearances in head coach Britt Bonneau's 14 seasons.

Angelo State 14, Cameron 6
Angelo State exploded for nine runs in the third inning and rode the gutsy pitching of Sam Janca to a 14-6 win over Cameron in an elimination game of the Lone Star Conference Baseball Championship at Crutcher Scott Field.
The win sends the Rams (34-25) into Monday's 5 p.m. championship game against 11th-ranked Abilene Christian. An ACU win over the Rams would give the Wildcats back-to-back championships, while an Angelo would force the if-necessary championship game, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Janca -- pitching with a badly injured right (throwing) shoulder -- gutted out a complete-game victory, throwing 143 pitches to get his team to the championship round for the third time in the last four seasons.
He scattered nine hits and walked just one batter while striking out nine Aggies.
The Rams, meanwhile, scored all the runs Janca would need in the third when they sent 12 batters to the plate, collected four hits and scored nine times.
Keith Towne had a two-run double, Clay Puckett a two-run single and Scott Pollard an RBI single before Isaac Garcia finished off the scoring with a grand slam to left field.
