Men's Golf: Five teams selected for regional

Five Lone Star Conference men's golf teams were selected for the South Central Regional to be played May 3-5 at The Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Okla., hosted by Cameron University.

Abilene Christian, the LSC champions, is the No. 1 seed, while Midwestern State is seeded sixth, CU seventh, Central Oklahoma eighth and East Central 10th.

Also representing the league as individuals are Northeastern State’s Kyle Fouts and Brady Wood.

The South Central region is paired with the Midwest Region in Duncan to form a super regional.

The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals May 18-21 at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind.
