TWU Gymnastics Weekly Release for the week of March 15-21


DENTON, Texas (March 17) – The Pioneers will host their final regular season meet on Friday against New Hampshire at 7:00 p.m. The five seniors - Alexa Brennan, Michelle Graves, Keri Miller, Kelsey Nixon, and Leslie Pladson - will be honored prior to the meet in a brief Senior Day ceremony. Callahan named Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week


DENTON, Texas (March 16) – Texas Woman’s University senior outfielder Billie Callahan has been named Lone Star Conference South Division Hitter of the Week for the week of March 8-14. The weekly award is the first for Callahan this season and second in her career.

Gymnastics finishes second in tri-meet with UC-Davis and Cal


DAVIS, Calif. (March 14) – The Texas Woman’s University gymnastics team finished second with a score of 192.825 in a tri-meet with UC-Davis and California. The host team, UC-Davis won the meet with a score of 194.600 and Cal finished third with 190.575.

Softball drops a doubleheader to #16 West Texas A&M


DENTON, Texas (March 12) – The TWU softball team opened the conference schedule with a doubleheader loss to #16 West Texas A&M. The Pioneers dropped the first game 5-2 and then lost the night cap 6-2.

TWU Gymnastics Weekly Release for the week of March 8-14


DENTON, Texas (March 12) – After taking a week off, the Pioneers will return to action when they travel to California to compete in two meets. TWU will start with a dual meet against Sacramento State on Friday at 7:00 p.m. (PST). The Pioneers will wrap-up the trip with a triangular meet at UC-Davis with California on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. (PST).
