SAN ANGELO – The Tarleton TexAnn softball team will open the Lone Star Conference South Division schedule this weekend with a three-game series at No. 2 Angelo State. The two teams will play a single game at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 12 before playing a doubleheader on Saturday, March 13 beginning at 1 p.m.
STEPHENVILLE – The Tarleton men’s track & field teams took home four first-place finishes and All-American’s Kandis Brooks, Garrett Thomas and Casey Keeter each recorded provisional times/marks at the Tarleton Relays at Oscar Frazier Track in Stephenville on Thursday.

Tarleton shot a 627 to finish three strokes behind leader No. 18 Cal State-Monterey Bay.
The Tarleton women’s basketball will travel to Canyon this Friday, March 11, to take on No. 15 Emporia State in the first round of the NCAA South Central Regional Championships. The TexAnns are making just their second appearance ever the NCAA Tournament and first trip since 2006. The TexAnns and Lady Hornets are scheduled to tip-off at 6 p.m. on Friday inside First United Bank Center in Canyon.
WICHITA FALLS - The Tarleton Texans will return to action at their seventh NCAA South Central Region tournament in the last nine seasons when the purple and white face Nebraska-Omaha in a first round match-up at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 13 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum in Wichita Falls.
