Greyhound Coaches to Hold Football Coaching Clinic

The Eastern New Mexico University Football coaches will host both a coaching clinic and a women's football tutorial on Monday, August 4th at 6 p.m. in Greyhound Arena. The coaching clinic is open to football coaches at all levels and the women's tutorial is for women 18 years of age or older. Below is a list of planned activites. Carter Joins Greyhound Basketball for 2008-09 Season

Portales, N.M.? Eastern New Mexico University men's basketball coach Shawn Scanlan has announced the addition of Darsenio Carter (Jr., F, 6-6, 200, Sacramento, Calif./Yuba College/Natomas HS) to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Greyhounds in the upcoming 2008-09 season.

McCorkle and Elizondo Step Down as ENMU Soccer Coaches

PORTALES, N.M.? Eastern New Mexico University athletic director Michael Maguire has announced that women's soccer coach Travis McCorkle and men's soccer coach Carlos Elizondo has resigned from their positions to pursue other opportunities. A nationwide search has begun to fill both coaching vacancies.

Flewelling Placed First in Short Go at CNFR

CASPER, WYO. ? Tyrell Flewelling (Fr., Lacombe, Alberta, Canada/Lacombe HS) from the Eastern New Mexico University rodeo team tied for first place in the short go of the team roping, while Kyle Roberts (Jr., New Mexico State) turned in a third place finish into 19th place in the bareback riding at the College National Finals Rodeo held at the Casper Events Center.

Flewelling Moves into Third Place in Team Roping at CNFR

CASPER, WYO. ? Tyrell Flewelling (Fr., Lacombe, Alberta, Canada/Lacombe HS) moved into third place in the team roping Thursday evening at the College National Finals Rodeo at the Casper Events Center. Flewelling, along with partner Arena de la Cruz (Weatherford) scored a 7.4 in the third go, improving their average to 25.5.
