The Eastern New Mexico University women's volleyball team was defeated in four sets (28-26, 16-25, 19-25, 21-25) by Texas A&M University-Commerce in a Lone Star Conference match at Greyhound Arena. The Zias dropped their overall record to 6-17 and remained winless in three matches in LSC play. The Lions improved to 6-17 overall and 4-1 in conference play.

Eastern New Mexico University head cross country coach Eric Boll has announced that the Greyhounds and Zias will be traveling to Odessa, Texas, this Saturday, for the University of Texas-Permian Basin Invitational. The UTPB Invitational will take the place of the Angelo State Classic on the schedule of the ENMU men's and women's cross country teams.

Freshman midfielder Odilon Garcia (Ogden, Utah/Ben Lomond HS) beat West Texas A&M (7-4; SSC 2-1) goal keeper Sebastian Furness to a rebound in front of the Buffalo net in the second overtime of Wednesday's Southwest Soccer Conference game and buried a shot into the left side of the WT net, lifting the Eastern New Mexico University men's soccer team (4-4-2; SSC 2-0-1) to a 2-1 double overtime victory at ENMU Soccer Field. The Greyhounds played the final 29 seconds of the game shorthanded after a red card was issued.
